Waitress Waiter Pizza Driver why their salaries are so low?

Why don't their cheaply ******** stingy employers pay them like normal people's salary (at least $5.50/hr) and tip should be a bonus (not forcing to do so?).

Why America let them abuse waitress/waiter/pizza delivery guy's salary?? and then those people turn their back to rip off us. Expect us to give good tip and do set a standard minimum tip that raise from 18-20%. Is it fair to them and to customers at all? Do you ever go to the restaurant and have to leave tip but inside you don't want to leave at all because it is not worth to do so? I do leave good tip but only if I feel comfortable to leave tip. I hate any "force" or "requirement".

I wish they would pay more. I am pizza delivery driver and I live off of tips. They don't pay me enough in wages to even pay for the gas I use delivering pizza. What gets me is that they charge a $2.00 delivery fee and then don't give any of it to the driver. There have been nights that I have worked 6 hours and actually lost money.

People think drivers get to keep the delivery fee. Nope.

they dont pay servers $5.50 an hour because if they did then the price of everything in the restaurant would go up. so lets say they do start paying us $5.50 an hour. The $19 dollar ribeye you ate a week ago would now be somewhere around $25. The $2 coke you enjoyed with your meal would now be $4. Add it up and it would probably make your meal more than it would be with a %20 tip. Also, if you think you get crappy service now when your server is working to try and impress you to get a tip, imagine how it would be if their money was guarenteed. If you ask for something you would get an answer like "I'll get it when i get around to it." But so none of this happens our employers pay us $2.13 so the food prices will be low, and we as servers will try and impress you to get you to come back and also trying to get at least %15 out of you.
