  1. the rudest thing a waitress has ever said to me,, would have to be when i came around to their table, they accused me infront of everyone that my cooking is sh*t i got really upset and then he started spitting his soup all over me!!! HE HAS NEVER CAME BACK SINCE

  2. never been a waitress but while setting up coupon machines at a kmart i was asked where to find something in the store.  i explained to the person that i work for the coupon company and am not familiar with this exact store and directed them to customer service 25 feet away.   their reply to me was "the job sucks and so do you"

  3. Get a real job was a blow for me..  I reacted by saying "who would deal with you then" !!!

  4. i had a table of 5, they looked like a good table, older 50-ish, men and women. they had to wait 45 mins for their table (which is not bad on a sat. night), while they waited they had a couple bottles of wine at the bar. i greeted them with my usual greet and a couple coasters on the table. it was a long table so i slid 2 of the coasters a little so they would be in front of each guest. the guy closest to me gathers up all the coasters and starts flinging them in my face like frisbees one by one. i pick them up off the ground and say "how rude." i continue on and get their drink order. i bring drinks, same guy doesn't like where i've placed one of the other peoples drinks so he slides it closer to them. i take their dinner order, and bring out salad and bread. i'm putting everything on the table and he grabs the salad plates off the table and hands them to me and tells me to hand them out to each person (which i was about to do) that HE will not be doing my job for me. i continue on. now their dinners are on the way to their table when he tells says "why is our food not here, if you don't want to wait on us get us a better server, and i do not want to see you come back to this table." i respond "no problem, thank you." before i even leave the table their food is there. i tell our fill-in manager, whom i have just met that night, everything. he tells me that i am not allowed to REFUSE service! i'm like WHAT??? he goes to talk to them, they act like jerks, he transfers their bill to another server. i waited on them 40 mins the next server had them for 5mins. of course no tip for me. then they had the nerve to request all the servers sing to them b/c it's one of their birthdays!!! I didn't sing. why did those people with this jerk let him do that to me? my other tables saw all of it and overtipped me. one lady wrote me a nice note. another group asked for boxes and their checks and said they'd be at the bar so they could get away from him.  i prayed he would trip and fall but he didn't ( i know that's a good thing) a very humiliating experience.

  5. omggg i could write a 100000 page book. idk if this is the worst b/c i cant think right now but the most recent thing that has happened was this...a group of ladies come in every tuesday and theres this one lady her name is IRIS.  She is suuuuuuch a *****, shes like 55 years old and thinks shes like 19.  ANYWAY..she ordered a steak breakfast and complained about her rye toast, her homies and her streak...THREE different times in one sitting. Then i went over to her and said "would you like some more coffee" she totally ignoreded me so i stood there for a good 30 seconds contumplating on hitting her lol. as SOON as i turn to walk away she goes... MISSSS HEELLO!!! then i just walked away cuz i didnt wana do anything stupid.  A few minutes went by and i wlaked by her table and i heard her whisper to her friend..."i think its hysterical that im pissing her off like this hahahha" all i could think of was BBBBIIITCC*!!!!!!!!!  sorry about the rant but ur a waiter/waitress and u know how it is im sure

  6. One time we had a big wedding party come in and I was wrapping up another check from a table outside. Take in mind we had two other waitresses cover the wedding party, so when I go over there to bring them some of their drinks and take orders the father of the bride berates me for not helping the other waitress and tells me how lazy and inexperienced I was and how I could have been helping them take orders, and that I'm the reason their food took soo long. I just smiled and asked if he wanted grilled vegetables with his Halibut.

  7. A .25 cent tip on Christmas eve.

but I can't even think after Jennifer's story. You have a winner.

  8. Get her I'm not going to tip you.  I said sure I didn't want to wait on him anyway it wasn't even about the tip either.  It was about people like him and if I waited on him that is what he would be doing waiting and waiting and waiting.  People don't even understand not to be rude to your server before you get your food you never know what they might do to what you are about to eat.
