money do you make a month approximentley? and where do you work??

I was a server for three years at the Texas Roadhouse. I made $2.13 an hour, but in a five to six day work week at maybe five to seven hours a day I would make about $500 to $700 dollars a week in tips. Now that is in the DFW area, while I was in Lubbock a smaller area, I only made $300 to $450 in tips. Hope this helps.

I worked at a small family owned Japanese restaurant in Northern California for a year and a half as the cashier and shift manager.  When I quit to focus on school I was making $8.50/hour (5.5 or 6.5 hour shifts) plus between $30 and $60 in tips (per night) depending on the night and time of year.  I worked part time and was in school full time.  I made about $600 a month (before taxes) not including tips.

iv got a waitress friend that makes 10 an hour but apparently tips are generally less than 10%. kamloops, bc
