I HATE when they cut me off. I had one say, "Bye, bye," when I went to check on the food. I've had them cut me off when I try to introduce myself. When hosting, they often tell me "3" when I ask how they're doing.

But my favorite, was the other day when a woman told me all about her feelings on politics, feelings which I didn't agree with, at all. Being that I wanted money from her, I smiled as long as I could without letting on that I either agreed or disagreed. Finally, I made an outlandish comment,and shut her up, with a smile.

Remember people, I don't really care about your opinions or personal life when I'm at work. It's my job and I have better things to do than to listen to you rant. Unless, you're funny. =]

Oh, and one guy told me to keep the change for my education. I enjoyed telling him that I'm a third grade teacher, and this is a summer job.

tug on my apron, yelling across the fine dining establishment..."hey ma, can i get a corona", talking on the phone when im taking an order, and when i ask how he would like his steak prepared, putting his finger up and telling me to wait.......ive got hundreds!!!...waiting tables for 8 years....have you ever been to the website http://www.stainedapron.com/ ...its made for servers...

I used to be a waitress (a very long time ago), and I had this one guy come in with his family.  He put a stack of ones on the table and said "This is your tip, everytime I find something wrong - I will take away a dollar.  You start at $20.00"

Regardless to say, he was VERY picky.  He asked for a lemon in his water - then got upset that there were lemon "pieces" floating in it.  He didn't like the chair he was sitting in because it wobbled a little and he didn't like his soup at all.  He didn't like how his salmon was cooked...amongst other things.

I think I ended up with about $3.00 for over $200.00 of a bill.  Most of the problems weren't even on my end at all.

I saw a customer tripped a waiter (ON PURPOSE) and she spilled all the food and got a piece of glass from stuck in her hand. And they tipped her  a quarter because they were pissed that it took longer because they had to remake the food again. I think its horrible!

They didnt like me so they put my tip (a penny) under an upside-down full glass of water.

snapping fingers really gets my blood boiling. When you approach a table and try to introduce yourself and they interrupt by saying "Coffee........with cream".  the worst though is when they walk out without paying and you have to pay for thier check.
