  1. MD WAITROSE!!

But, if you combine the 2 you get a good result, eg. M&S do better pastys, pies, sandwiches and bread but WAITROSE do better everything else.

BTW, M&S has facory farmed duck and battery chckens so i wouldnt buy meat from them.

    Hope I helped.

  2. M&S, definitely.. Waitrose is only down south really, so there's not much competition in my opinion.

  3. waitrose definately are better. in my opinion m&s try too hard bu just don't quite get it right. too rich with too many flavours.

waitrose have foods for every occasion and they all taste great!

  4. Both offer a wide range of quality foods.

    Both are expensive.

    Both are nice

    Cant decide

  5. They're both expensive.

  6. Is this like Aldi vs Lidl for the middle classes?

  7. Waitrose through and through. I love their wine, cheeses and desserts.

Alan Coren once said "The only thing I know about Sainsburys is that it keeps the riff-raff out of Waitrose".

Unfortunately can't afford to do a weekly Waitrose shop so I'm a Sainsbury girl.

  8. Marks nd sparks! DEFO! much tastier food and better quality generally!

  9. I don't use both a lot, but I particularly dislike the latest M&S arguably sexist advertising campaign with females in scanty undies, so if I had to choose it would be Waitrose for that reason.

How much can you glamourize a quiche?

btw, Jinxy, I hadn't heard that quote before from the late, wonderful, Alan Coren, RIP, thanks!
