  1. As suggested, ride switch for awhile and get comfortable.  Before trying it off of the wake, try it a couple times on flat water.  You'll need to pop the board a little, and use your legs and hips to really swing it around.

  2. Like boardfan stated, you need to be comfortable riding switch (opposite from your normal stance) because you will either be landing switch or taking off switch in order to land the 180 in your normal stance.  The more you ride switch the easier it will be.  If you do not ride with anyone who can show you how to do it properly, I would suggest checking out 'The Book' series DVDs.  A very good instructional series on wakeboarding from the basics to advanced riding.

  3. To stick a 180, you really need to be comfortable riding goofy and regular first.  Practice riding goofy (assuming you ride normal) as much as possible and when it becomes comfortable, sticking that 180 should be fairly simple.  Another little trick I used was to use the 'lip' of the wake to pivot the board 180 without actaully getting any air.  ride over to the wake, and when directly over the top of it, with as little of the board actually touching, pivot 180 and ride down the other side.  360s are a little more tricky because it requires passing the rope behind your back and takes much more pratice.

  4. I'm learning 180s to and you really need to get height and spin that board around fast so you can spot your landing and stick. To get used to goin goofy (or regular) do around 13 mph and practice surface 180s. Good luck.
