  1. That's brilliant, n2_c*5Ha>Nq. I hate people who don't think just like me too. They're so ignorant! And what's up with these people who don't love very single aspect of life in America? Can't they just roll over and take it in the *** like good little automotons? Everything is perfect! Discontents are trying to ruin our perfect nation! Let's set up some internment camps and reeducation centers like the Comm.....ooops!

  2. Internment centers are said to exist in The U.S.A.to intern illegal immigrants nowadays and existed also in WW1, and in WW2 in The U.S.A. and Canada.

These are other examples of absurdity. The video is quite right there is an absurdity in trucking in food and a waste of materials when local sources are right at hand. The thing to do about NAFTA and such is to cease such agreements and use local produce where it is possible. There use to be more corner grocery stores around than Box stores so in future something not as large and with cloth bags and items stocked for swift use  could help. Less need for refrigeration. Then an idea could be for even distribution of money and less emphasis on consumption . Food Stores can do without such and so can people. Sadly none heed  the message

    Kill yourself.

    No, NOT your TV, yourself.

Do it and quickly - before you have a chance to talk yourself out of it!

  4. Yeah, I find it amusing how much the younger generations are getting screwed, and how much c**p the mass media and government propoganda machine continues to spit out.

People have so much invested in the social and monetary systems that most truth that shakes their illusions is reviled or ridiculed.

Go to college, get married, have kids, and live a long and prosperous American dream, for many generations to come.

Everyone is so concerned about the possible coming recession which literally means the Gross National Product going down two quarters in a row.  Well when the GNP is hinged upon the premise of continued growth of a majority of buisnesses whose economic model is destructive, then it might be in everyone's best interest if it did go into recession.

  5. I have no doubt you're an intelligent person, but I must ask,     -   are you surprised by any of this?

These people have lives whose own business is so not worth minding, that they either have to make their business everyone else's business, or they just can't keep their noses out of everyone else's business, which amounts to the same thing, really.

  6. I've learned if you approach things the wrong way people will easily tune you out...even if your message is valuable.

I think you might have lost a few folks on your "absurdity" comment...

it's a shame, we can almost always catch more bees with honey.

    :)

on that note bee shortage is very bad for us...extremely bad (like deadly for all of us)...they are the most important insect in the human food chain...my point...even the smallest, *seemingly* insignificant things are key to pay attention to.

All in all your link here provides some useful knowledge as to prevent a great deal of detrimental effects of our lifestyle from continuing to occur and  prevent us from basically choking ourselves...

Personally, I've been interested in textile recycling...In my city, I can leave clean damaged clothing curbside for recycling i.e. socks with holes, ripped jeans...etc....these items are broken down and made into new things...also, have you seen the great carpets made out of plastic bottles.

people will still shop big box stores.. we can become educated on how to reduce waste, and recycle our goods properly (i.e. electronics recyclers) and demand that manufacturers use less packaging and that in doing so they omit such packaging materials or other treatments (to produce, meats, and clothing) that are harmful to people, the water ways, or animals...

again, it's easy to turn people off...we can only get educated and do our best and sometimes, people can't make all these changes all at once...little by little though...perhaps.

another example where all that glitters is not gold....even a hybrid or totally electric car isn't perfect...unless you're running completely solar at home...there is still a smokestack at the electrical plant, no?

perhaps you'd be a candidate for communal living environment, where everything is sustainably created and utilized...

    thanks for your post!

    best,

    tharedhead

    p.s. like the spearhead target!
