  1. switch your grip before you take off. switch wich hand is on to. if your goofy put your left hand on top and if your regular put your right hand on top. will do two things. 1. it helps rotate your body faster and 2. it will make it so that you are more ballanced over your board when you land

  2. ok so all you need to do is pull the rope in more so theres no slack ..... use the rope for your support and you should be fine

  3. well its not like you need a ton of twist to go a whole 180 degree rotation. make sure youyr weight is balanced and be prepared to absorb and adjust on the landing. if you cant ride it out it has to be your weight ,,, too far forward i'd guess.   oh also if you havent done it switch try that  (half  cab 180).. you'll land regular and maybe can critique your own body position.

  4. work on riding switch. it also helps a lot if you cut toeside and then land heelside after you do a 180. that way your not so wobbly (because its easier to ride switch heelside) and you dont fall on your face.

  5. Similar to torquing a 180 on a snowboard, you need to begin the twist with your upper body before you twist your lower body.  This way, when you jump off the wake, you have a smoother rotation. The best way to practice is to strap into your board on the grass and try it.

With your feet locked in, turn your shoulders as far as you can while keeping your hands in the direction of the boat. Jump and twist your legs in a quick snapping motion while keeping your shoulders square to the direction of the boat.  While your legs rotate, your upper body may try to keep rotating as well, so be very careful not to over rotate.

When you're comfortable, you can try this on a trampoline to get the smooth transition of moving your legs UNDER your upper body.  This is the essential goal of the 180.
