I weigh 210lbs. What size wakeboard should I get? I am looking at a used O'Brien Myth 126. Is it a good fit for me?

  2. I weigh 205lbs and ride a 138 hyperlite parks which is small for my size. You should be riding something in the 140+ range. Go to wakeside.com, it will tell you what size board you should be using.

Also, dont just buy a board because it looks cool. Go to a wakeboard shop that demos boards and rent a couple until you find one that works good for u.

Dont waste your money on the 126 its way to small for you and you will not enjoy the sport.

  3. no dude you need much bigger than that 140+ is for 200+ so you should be looking at around a 138-147 depending on personal preference (the bigger the easier to get up with, the smaller the easier to control and do tricks on).

  4. For someone weighing 210lbs, you need a wakeboard that is 140cm+.

You really want to check out a board that is a bit bigger than the Myth 126.  O'Brien do plenty of boards that would be a good size for you, check out the 2007 season range.  Also lots of other manufacturers have boards that would fit you!

    I like http://www.wakeworld.com for a good range!

  5. a 126 is waaaaay too small.

you need to look at something in the 140's.
