Wakeboard tower for 1991 baja?

Question

I've started getting into wakeboarding recently and i wakeboard off of a 1991 baja. The only problem is that i can't find a wakeboard tower that won't mess with the integrity of the boat, or that is even affordable. The other day i saw a tripod that mounts on the towing handle. Has anyone ever seen or heard of something like this, and, if you have, could you send me a link to show me it? Thanks for the help.

If your boat didn't come with a tower, I definitely wouldn't buy a tower that messes with the integrity of the boat either. I would however look at a pole that mounts on/in the back of your boat. You get basically the same results without such a hassle, a  price, and boat damage.

I personally like this one.

I could not dissagree more with the previous poster.

I personally have installed a wakeboard tower to my 1987 VIP 19.5' boat. It was a Monstertower and I love it. It in no way endagered the strength of the boat/fiberglass. There are numerous reasons why I would NOT intall a pole:

1. Poles are much more dangerous because of the cables/straps/poles required to brace them and the fact that they are in high-traffic areas

2. Your functional/open area is reduced due to required placement of the pole

3. The bolted flange that is required for the pole is much more damaging to the boat.

The second link is for the customer photos for the H20 tower made by Air Pylon which is also a nice tower, but in my mind not as good looking. I was unable to find your boat in particular.

These and many other towers are well designed to not damage your boat, be pretty much universal and actually add value to your boat.
