  1. 1. To get more height you need to coast out as far away from the wake as you can.  Then you bend your knees and "load" your legs building up energy.  As soon as you are at the edge of the wake "jump" up and you should get a lot of air.  Then bend your legs to absorb the shock and land easier.

    2. First you need to know how to butterslide.  To do this you make the board parallel to the back of the boat, (your stomach should be facing the boat).  You need to keep the fins from touching the water while doing this to avoid flipping over.  Once you master this, try doing it on top of the wake.  This is a variation of the wake grind.

    3. The easiest trick to learn is the switch.  While your on the water, (not in the air), turn your hips sharply to the other direction.  You need to get used to this side as well.  Once you can do that easily combine it with this trick: ollie.  This is pretty easy.  Just slam your back foot down causing the front to pop upand jump with it.  Try to get higher jumps .  Now if you have combined them correctly you have learned the 180, (one-hundred eighty degree spin).  Try doing this off the wake as well.

    4. As for any tips all I can really say is to keep your weight away from the boat-let the boat pull you.  Don't try to pull yourself.  You will fall.  Try to always keep your legs somewhat bent to stabilize your-self.

p.s. if you have anymore questions like on more advanced tricks, feel free to e-mail me at hoosierck@sbcglobal.net.

    Hope this helps!
