Wakeboarding as a school sport?

I think it should be a competive school sport who else does and why or why not i'm just wondering

I agree with Sprout the boat would cost money for gas but it would be cool if it was more practical. Maybe someday boats could run on water like some cars do

It would be fantastic! I wish more schools would encourage alternative sports like skateboarding, surfing etc.

The only problem with wakeboarding is it requires a boat. Guess who would have to pay for that...the taxpayers!

Some schools by the ocean do have surf teams, but other alternative sports should be encouraged depending on where the school is located. I would've played sports in school if these types of activities were offered!

water skiing is a intermeral (sp?) college sport. teams from around the country meet at a certain small lake and have a contest, wakeboarding is included.  Get ready to party though. you do spend the night at the lake, mostly campers/tents
