Wakeboarding?

so my family goes to the lake every year and this year i want to try out wakeboarding. but see, here's the problem: i wont and dont have any access to a boat besides my uncle's.

so unless we go with them, are there any other ways to wakeboarding without using a boat?

  1. Yes, depending on where you live there are places called cable parks which gives you the same concept as wakeboarding but you are being pulled by a cable. If you dont live near a cable park you can buy a winch. EVen though a winch wont give you the wake like a boat will it works good in ponds and places like that where you can set up sliders.

    its rough and it hurts to fall, but its a ton of fun

  4. yes if u dont have a boat u can use a winch or u can use a jet ski. if u dont have a lot of access to a boat i would try wakeskateing it is skateboarding on water. it is a little harder but once u get the hang of it wakeskaeing will be a walk in the park. wakeskates run from 70-300 $$. i would strt off w/ a 70 $$ board just to be safe, u kno........ if u dont like it. but yes a whinch and a jet ski are the way to go. good luck and have fun.
