  1. let the boat do the work. keep your knees bent as long as possible. hold the handle close to your chest. dont stop leaning back untill your up...and dont lean back to much. youll get it after a while.

  2. I just learned to wake board a couple weeks ago and i learned from the best.  My dad was offered a sponsor to go pro but he turned it down.... that tells me he is really good.  He told me to just relax, don't fight the board or it will just make you tired and you will never get up.  anyways relax, let the top of the board float a bit out of the water, your line should be in the middle of the board, sit on your heels, your butt  should be right by your heels, hold the handle right to your chest,  after you do this let the boat do the rest,  once the boat starts to give pull put your arms straight & keep your heels to your butt, lean back. Once your up your board naturally turns sideways,  lean forward, but not to much, and pull your arms back to your chest.  it takes a while but youll get it dont worry.  And trust me this works.... I got up the first try :)!!! GOOD LUCK!!! hope this helps.

  3. Sit down in the water with the line in front of you, when your ready to take off make sure the boat can pull you out of the water, lean back on your heels as if you are sitting and once your out of the water turn your board sidways.  It will take time to master getting up, but what ever you do, do not lean forward otherwise you'll faceplant.

  4. I just answered this same question. "sit back" lean forward" "board up" "board sideways" "arms close in" "arms straight"  there are so many different ways to get up and so many factors that change the mechanics of getting out of the water. where the rope is attached, the type of boat, the driver all have variables that will change what to do. once you "get it" it won't matter, but for beginning its too much to say "ok this is how its done"  . I think the key is to not straighten your legs out too quick and to have your body locked into a position that will allow yourself to be pulled. If on your first few attempts you cant get up then change something, your position in the water, your arms.... I think a lot of people do the body position thing like you can read here or on any wake boarding website and don't realize that you cant be limp about the whole thing.  I get up by floating in the water not laid back, but not sitting up. i do a stomach crunch of sorts as the boat moves. I can say that my knees and elbows are glued together until I am in an upright squatted position. get an experienced driver and play with what you read till you find the ticket for you.
