  1. I have a Hyperlite Blur, and had a Liquid Force Diva. I have used quite a few different boards as well, and I have to say that I like most Hyperlite boards better, but thats a personal opinion.

You should find a privately owned board shop to test out boards. Most of the time they will let you "check out" a board to see if you like it.

My biggest advice is to get a board with two fins on each side. Of all of the boards I have tried, two finned boards have the most control so you can aim your board easily when coming up to the wake for the best jumps possible. Also make sure to get a board that is the right size for you, because the size of your board can make or break your wakeboarding experience.

Attached it a website that will tell you what size your should get, according to your weight. Don't get a board bigger than what it says, but usually you can go smaller if you are more experienced. Lighter boards mean more tricks and less weight to throw around, but harder to handle.

  2. true on testing boards. its important. I just switched from the diva to a CWB sapphire. WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!!! I have taken the fins off and my riding, tricks, grabs, spins... all have gone to the next level. The second i switched boards i could feel the diff.
