Wakefield extend home sponsorship deal with Rapid Solicitor – Rugby League news
Wakefield Trinity Wildcats’ have announced the extension of their home sponsorship deal with the Rapid Solicitors Stadium for the next two seasons.
With this commercial deal sealed for the next two seasons, i.e. 2012 and 2013 Belle Vue ground of Wakefield will be known still the Rapid Solicitor Stadium. For the next two seasons, Rapid Solicitors will be the official Stadium Sponsor.
In lieu of the latest deal confirmed by the Law firm, regarding the extension of the sponsorship, it has been agreed upon by the franchise that they will make an investment to upgrade their training ground. It was revealed that this investment will mount
up to £500,000.
This training ground will undergo some major upgrades to improve the sporting facility for the Wildcats as they will be marching into the Super League games of 2012. However, it is under consideration that the club will move to a new training venue in 2013,
after the term of two years expires.
As the Rapid Solicitor has agreed to the extension of their deal with the Trinity, Martin Ward of Rapid Solicitor said, “As a Wakefield person, myself, I’m delighted to have extended our agreement with the Wildcats for a further two years. We have faith
in the new owner, the club and their future plans. Our commitment to the Wildcats is also a commitment to our involvement in communities. . I hope the fans will support us, in turn, should they need the services we provide.”
This extension of the term is speaking highly of the nature of trust Rapid Solicitors for the Wakefield.
While speaking about the sponsorship deal, Martin Hopkins, the commercial manager of Wildcats stated that the deal is of great value to the club and its future. He further added that he is really happy with the developments within the franchise which is
a proof of the level of confidence they have for each other.
It was further revealed by the commercial manager that this is their way of showing how a company is marketed across the media by its franchise. It was further added by him that Rapid Solicitors have really exhibited their affinity to Wakefield by realising
the true importance of in the Community and the City of Wakefield.
