Is it normal to wake up crying?

In the past couple of months I've woken up a couple of times crying my eyes out and feeling really upset.

The thing is, is that I can't remember what or if I've been dreaming about anything?

Has this happened to anybody else before?

What does it mean?

  1. I have awakened very sad, and hurt before even scared but it was all from some type of dream that had the feeling of being very real.  Normally I remember all of my dreams but there has been times that I would wake up depressed and not be able to remember why or what I dreamed about the following night, but it has never been consistant.

  2. i've done it before....but i always remember what i was dreaming about (people close to me dying) but maybe you could see a phycologist or a counselor if you are really freaked out by this.

  3. get a therapist..or pshycologist

  4. It probably means you were crying or upset in your dream...just like when you wake up shouting from a dream or moving around. Don't worry about it! Just try to go to bed when you are relaxed and stress-free, and you will probably not have upsetting dreams that might cause you to cry.

  5. sometimes people get like that, you must of had a very mad dream that mad you cry or theres something thats suck in your memeory thats making you do this do to the doctor  and ask if this are okay sometimes it can be a health problem.

  6. Are you depressed?  Are you dreading doing something that day?  I sometime way up and cry because I don't want to face the day.
