Wal-Mart Pre-Paid Visa Card?

Question

Is there an age limit to buy and use one?

It says reloadable, Do you just bring your card back to wal-mart to refill it?

Do you have to have a bank account?

Any other information such as charges or anything would be nice :D

Also do you get like a pin number?

Can you use the card online?

No, there is no age limit.  It is reloadable at any Wal-Mart.  No bank account is needed.  There is no monthly fee unless you leave your money on it over a year.  It usually costs like $3 or $4, depending on the amount you buy.  You DON'T get a pin number.  Use it as "Credit" even though it says DEBIT, since you are not given a pin number.  Yes, you can use the card online, but you have to register it first, online, with your name, address, etc.

I'd suggest looking for discounts in flyers/ads for your local stores.  Sometimes, they give them out free or cheaper at places like Walgreens, Rite Aid, CVS, supermarkets, etc.

I had one of these cards once. I am not sure about the age limit. You don't have to have a bank account. You go back into Walmart and purchase a load pack ($4 or 5) along with however much money you want to add to the card. You can track the card and your spending online. I think there is a monthly maintenance fee. You can use it online and I think you order a PIN for it.
