  1. buy a world industries starter they are the best starting decks dont get a wal mart board i used a brand new one and snapped in with a kick flip

  2. no

just to list a few things wrong with them

they suck....ok fine u want more details

crack easily (stand on it to long)

    weak wood

cheap glue (the plys come apart very fast)

tail chips after a good ollie

    heavy

abec 1 bearings ( the lowest possible grade bearings)

bushing just suck (slow, wide turns)

    snap easily

    dangerous

    difficult to learn on

    looses pop really quick

very wide (8in.) and i believe its a 8 ply(think from ply wood definatly not maple)

c**p wheels dont no why but thy skate like c**p its just weird

warp easily dont no why it does, it just does

if u wanna start skating go to a local skate shop ask for a somewhat cheap complete. itll work much much better without u having to invest to much money on something u may quit. and thy'll help u find one thatll work best for u (unless they're complete asses)

gotta friend that skates? ask him to help you if u do

  3. getting a cheap skateboard is a very good choice for your first board. You will be tearing it up and what not so it makes no sense to buy an expensive board

or heck if a friend has an older board they dont want you can get a cheap one that way as well

  4. yeah it would be good but you will have to learn and when you get a zumiez or another type of skateboard it will be totally differnt

  5. NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! do not get a wal mart board unlike real skateboards wal mart boards are flat and not rounded like it should be and the wheels do not roll over much u should not buy a wal mart board

  6. Don't get a walmart board!I tryed that and I know other people whp tryed it and there meant as toys and not real skateboards, the bearings womt spin get the boards are cheap wood and don't last, the wheels flatspot, even for a begginer there bad boards.

Go to your local skateshop or ccs.com and buy a complete(already put together),if you buy the completes you get em for way chraper then if you buy it piece by piece and it will last you along time, dome good brands of completes are element and zero.
