what happen if you cant make the interview

in reality.....you probably won't get called back.  It really depends on how bad the store needs associates and how much time your trying to re-schedule for.  And, I'm not talking about Wal-Mart interviews - any place that sets an interview and  you agree to it, then later call and say "oh, I forgot I'm gonna be out of town...." or whatever excuse you give - figures you're not serious about the job.  With the economy being as unstable as it is right now and people losing their jobs, they can fill positions easy right now.

You need to call them ASAP and reschedule, let them know the reason why you can't make the interview.  They should be understanding.

You should call as soon as possible, apologize, and reschedule.  If you have already missed it they may not want to reschedule, but if you want to work there it is worth the call.  I used to interview people to work for me at a health lab.  Many people called late in the day or the next morning and apologized; stating that they thought the interview was the next day and realized their mistake after getting home and checking their calendar for the time.
