Arsenal’s attacking English international http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Walcott-c34873 has gone on to claim that the Gunners are improving on a yearly basis and that it won’t be long before the team reaches its full potential.
The Gunners went on to face off against Chelsea this past weekend, and following a hard fought match, the North London club lost by two goals to one. This loss now sees the Gunners sit a massive seven points behind Tottenham Hotspur who are sitting in the
fourth spot in the league table.
Walcott has recently gone on to sign a new deal with the Gunners and so far he feels that this is as good as it gets for him.
The player has strong belief in the Gunners ability and feels that good things are just around the corner.
"I signed my new contract because I believe this team is getting better and we don't want to be standing still," Walcott told reporters.

"We've got to start clocking up points fast. We were out of the top four for quite a while last year as well and still managed to finish third, so we can't start worrying about what Spurs are doing.”
However, the attacker feels that the North London club need to show more confidence in games, since he feels that is the one thing that is lacking in the team at this point in time.
"I think there's a lack of belief here. We need to start realising just how good we are. We've got some very, very good players but some of them don't believe they are good enough at times," Walcott said.

"We showed some great stuff in the second half at Chelsea and that didn't surprise me. But we can't be coming out of the blocks as slowly as we have done.

"On Sunday we were too slow, gave them too much space, we were sloppy closing down and we didn't show enough commitment.”

It is now up to the team to maintain that mentality and go on and win their upcoming games, as they look to close in on the top four.
