http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Walcott-c34873 has stated that he feels quite deadly in front of the goal this time around, and is hoping for this run of form to continue for the remainder of the season.
The forward went on to score for Arsenal in under a minute against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019 this past weekend, and his goal looked like it might have just been enough to help Arsenal win the game.
However, with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marouane-Fellaini-c24295 (who missed the previous game for Everton) scoring for Everton, the match went on to end in a draw which saw both the teams share points on the night.
This season, Walcott has managed to score a very impressive ten goals in all competitions, and he also managed to bag a hat trick against Reading in a Capital One Cup match.
Given the way things have been going for the player, he seems to have more than enough confidence to continue playing at his best, and finding the back of the net for the Gunners.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international is reported to have said:"Those are the sort of positions that this season and in the last few seasons I have been quite deadly in.”
"When given a little sniff I am able to take it now. My general play is getting better as well. The assists are coming now, which is fantastic, and I am enjoying my football.”
"I think I scored 11 last season and 13 the year before. Not just that, but my general play [is getting better] as well. The assists are coming now, which is fantastic, and I am enjoying my football.”
"I am very happy with the way I have started and it has got to continue. Hopefully I will take it into Saturday's game [against Swansea City]."
At the moment, Walcott’s future at the club is in major doubt, with the player yet to put pen to paper on a contract extension. The Gunners are hoping to wrap things up before the season comes to an end, in hopes of avoiding watching another one of their
prime players leaving the team once again.
It is now a wait to see just what the future holds in store for Walcott, and if the player will end up playing for Arsenal next season or not.
