Wales’s manager, Gary Speed, has hailed Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey as the future of Welsh National team.

Speed admitted that it was a tough decision to make him the captain at this young age but he is confident that Ramsey conducts himself very nicely on the pitch and he will prove to be the right man for the job.
Speed explained: “He’s really young and it was a tough decision, but I think looking to the future and the development of the squad, the way he conducts himself and his conduct on the pitch is fantastic. He showed that against the best team in the country,
Manchester United, last week.”
The 41-year-old also praised Tottenham Hotspur and Welsh midfielder, Gareth Bale, for a remarkable 2010/11 season. Bale has been in sensational form throughout the season and has been rewarded with the PFA Player of the Year award 2011 for his performances.

Speed believes that playing in the UEFA Champions League this season against top quality sides would definitely help nurture Bale in the future.
“He’s been fantastic and has been a revelation this season. But it’s no surprise to me because I have watched him play for Wales for three or four years and to be honest, he has been playing like that for a while.” Said the former Bolton star
The manager is happy with the quality of players emerging at the National level and believes that the team has everything what it takes to become a top level team. The manager added that Bale and Ramsey will be pivotal figures in the national team in the
future.
