Wales will take on Belgium on Friday night for their World Cup qualifying campaign as the domestic season is put on hold for two weeks.
The Welsh national squad will host Belgium this Friday as the World Cup qualifiers take place all over the world. The Welsh team face a stern test as they prepare for the game against a new-look and impressive Belgium side that features big names in defence,
midfield and up front in attack.
Wales
Expected starting line-up:
Boaz Myhill, Chris Gunter, Darcy Blake, Ashley Williams, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sam-Ricketts-c32291, Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey, Joe Allen, Andrew Crofts, Simon Church, Sam Vokes.
Wales will be missing out on a number of key players on account of injuries. Every time a Wales side has come up against an international team, they have faced problems with their squad. Be it injuries, development periods or squad withdrawals.
New Wales head coach http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 signing Joe Allen in midfield.
Both players had an excellent tournament for team Great Britain in the 2012 London Olympics and showed how well they can play together in the midfield. Coleman will be expecting a stellar performance from both youngsters.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gareth-Bale-c14422 also starts on the wing, and Coleman will be hoping to see some explosive runs and direct play by the Spurs forward player.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Craig-Bellamy-c9471 and the injured Neil Taylor, who fractured his left foot in the game against Sunderland on Sunday.
Coleman, still looking for a win, has lost both his first two games as manager ever since he took over after Gary Speed’s tragic death.
Belgium
Expected starting line-up:
Thibaut Courtois, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christian-Benteke-c9056.
Belgium are one of the international teams to look out for, and feature a number of big names in their impressive squad.
The national team boasts of attacking, defensive and midfield talent. The national team features a host of high profile players in a star studded line-up. It’s no wonder why the team has been labelled as favourites to progress through to the World Cup in
2014.
The defence starts Kompany and Vermaelen, who are both captains of Premier League sides Manchester City and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 respectively.
The midfield comprises of Moussa Dembele and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marouane-Fellaini-c24295, both established and intimidating names in the Premier League. Fellaini will be the man to watch out for in the Belgian midfield, with his physical presence and excellent work rate.
On the wings and up front, Belgium will have Chelsea’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Eden-Hazard-c11863 and Everton’s Kevin Mirallas. Both players joined the English top flight this season, and have so far been nothing short of impressive.
Prediction
The Belgium team looks good on paper against a weaker Welsh side that is sorely short staffed when it comes to first team players. Wales only have the likes of Ramsey, Allen and Bale to depend on, while Belgium features a number of players who are currently
applying their trade in the top leagues of Europe.
I predict an easy win for Belgium or at the least a draw. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Belgium-c2850’s superior quality and squad depth will prove to be the difference between both sides.
Predicted score:

Wales 1 - 3 Belgium
