Walk, run, bike for a cuase?

This summer I would like to get the kids in my neighborhood more active, more involved in their community. Are there any events, marches, and such going on this summer in New York?

MS(multiple sclerosis) has walk-a-thons and bike-a-thons, the kids can go at their own pace and have fun.
