I'm really loving Here and Now by Luther Vandross and the music and beginning lyrics of it just seem perfect for a walk down the aisle song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A31u-dIMT-4

The whole "here and now" "starting here" "one look in your eyes" sounds just like walking down the aisle because it's all starting at the end of the aisle and the one looks as for when I'm walking down the aisle.

But I also love in for a first dance song. My other first dance song choice is I Believe in You by Joe and NSYNC http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5LcKo_5kTw&feature=related (Ignore the video listen to the song)

Or should I do Here and Now as the aisle song and I Believe in You as the first dance song

  1. Well, what if you walked down the aisle to "Here and Now" but just use an instrumental version?

Then for your first dance song you can use "Here and Now" sung by Luther Vandross.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with walking down the aisle and having your first dance to the same song. The way that I look at it is, when you here that song you will have two wonderful memories that come to mind.

Go with the song that will have meaning for you. I know my husband and I struggled for a long time to find a first dance song. We kept agreeing on songs that were just "okay" - but then when we finally heard our song we looked at each other and we knew that was the one. It should be special - that's all that matters...

  2. I understand what you're saying, but in my humble opinion, the problem w/ Here & Now as your aisle song is at what point do you cut the song off?  The walk down the aisle really isn't that long.  You'd be standing there for a couple minutes.

    Just something to consider :)

Edit - I love April's suggestion of a musical version for the aisle.
