Question:

Walk my way skinny? drop a few quick?

i'm looking to drop a few extra pounds and i want to do it quickly. i know running would be ideal, but the joints are bothersome occasionally. anyhow i've started just walking on the treadmill @ a speed of 3.5 for 3hours straight and i intend to do that for at least five days a week. will this work? or should i move on to something else, any suggestions?

  1. 3 hours straight? I would suggest one hour max. maybe at most 1 hour in the morning and another at night.


  2. yes I think that will work just as well as jogging! You will really burn a lot of calories! Also make sure you eat 500 calories less a day! Sounds good! Good luck!

  3. Keep in mind that running & walking, and pretty much all leg exercises will build muscle. This will not make your legs skinny, just toned.

    In general, cardio will burn fat.
