Walk on water gimmick??

does anyone know how i can walk on water? or make a gimmick that looks like im walking on water??

I saw this once on a TV show.  Get a pair of sandals or flip-flops and tie a wood block to each of them.  Then strap the sandals or flip-flops on your feet and get into a pool of water that is the same height as the block you tied on earlier, and start walking.

Make sure that you walk steady, you could sprain an ankle while doing this trick.

Maybe a bridge or a series of steps just below the waterline. if they were dark and the bottom of the lake or pod or whatever was dar, you couldn't tell.
