Walk on water???

Question

how is it possible for people to walk on water???

1) Look around and see if Jesus is nearby.  I'm told he was very good at that sort of thing.

2) Failing that, one might be able to walk on water with very special shoes.  You know how snowshoes hold a person above the snow by spreading their weight out over a greater area?  You could theoretically do the same thing with water, although the shoes would have to be much larger, probably to the point of being unwieldy.  I can't think of anyone who's actually done this in the past.

with no help at all? It's not possible. But, if you could distribute your mass efficiently, then maybe it would be possible. If you strapped some ply wood to your shoe.

Unless you can make a shoe device which would create a very high surface tension between the water and the device so that your weight can not break the surface tension, then it might not be possible without supernatural power.

But there are animals that can walk on water because their weights are not sufficient to break the surface tension.
