Walkabout Gary confident to win Bord Na Mona A2 525 - Round 1 - Heat 5
Four epic victories during the last couple of months boosted up the Flynn trained fawn dog’s morale to a great extent, and the two-year-old young hound will be able to capitalise on this confidence to notch up top spot in the high-voltage race of the Bord Na Mona A2 525 - Round 1 - Heat 5 that is going to take place at Harold’s Cross on Friday, August 10.
In the €50 race, the dashing dog will face five worthy hounds after breaking from the blue box. The last two months proved to be greatly successful and lucky for the energetic sprinter.
On June 9, the brilliant son of Nobooth For Gary out of Mt Leinster Star won a GR contest over 525 yards at Cork. The next success for him was the title of The Lindab Ireland 525 that took place at Harold’s Cross on June 22.
The talented runner stunned the sport lovers by winning the Download the IGB Phone App 525 with the margin of 10 lengths at the same venue on June 29.
Walkabout Gary moved on to bag the ace title of The Find us on Facebook 525 on July 27. He finished 3rd in his last start on August 3. The skilled sprinter had been the hot favourite candidate for each of his last two races.
By utilising his capabilities and expertises, Walkabout Gary will be able to thrive convincingly as the stage is all set for his success.
Sheepwalk Mead will also perform well as he is carrying a lot of fighting spirit following his outstanding victory in The Kasko Dog Food 525 that was held at Harold’s Cross on August 3.
The Taggart trained black dog also delivered some decent performances during the last couple of months.
In tonight’s marathon, the son of Westmead Hawk out of Amarillos Best will show immense resilience against Walkabout Gary, but he is not likely to finish first as the latter is far stronger and better than him.
As a whole, the race will be filled with thrill and excitement. The duel between Sheepwalk Mead and Walkabout Gary will be amazing to watch.
