Norwich City’s game against Tottenham had been a fairly dull affair in the first half, but picked up after the interval.

Tottenham did have a chance to salvage something from the game when http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mark-Bunn-c24110 saved the resulting spot kick from Clint Dempsey, ensuring his side’s progression.
Chris Hughton, a former Tottenham player and manager, was quick to claim that Walker had gone down rather easily after Marc Tierney’s challenge, especially after the left-back claimed that he did not make contact with the Spurs player.
Walker has hit back at the manager, and stated that he takes offence to the comments. The player said:
“I’m from up north. I’m not going to go down softly. I thought I got a clip so I went down. It was a foul. The referee had awarded a penalty, or the linesman did. They were close enough to see it.”
“If I felt I was touched, then I am going to go down. That’s it.”
Tottenham will host Wigan Athletic at White Hart Lane tomorrow, and Walker insists that they must win the game. He added:
“It’s massively important that we bounce back. No disrespect to Wigan, but out of the next three games, this is the easiest.”
