i am going on a carnival cruise with family of 5. Can anyone recommend walkie talkies for all of us. Thanks

My fondest memory of our cruise was using walkie talkies! We could even change the channel & listen to other people talking hehe. Just go to Target or Walmart and get (i think its called) G-5 WT not sure though.

We bough Midland LXT-300s, they have a 10 mile range and come with rechargable batteries and a socking station for recharging.

One thing to keep in mind, the cruiselines state in their documentation that walkietalkies are allowed but they are to be limited to a 10 mile range.

We used the Cobra MicroTalk PR 255 VP model on our Spring Break cruise.

They were small enough to clip to belts or carry in small purses.

You can find sets at Wal-Mart, Target or Radio Shack.
