  1. General no cats don't like the leash. But there is a new breed of cat crossed with a larger wilder cat and a moggy. It about twice the size of a normal cat and doesn't mind the leash. Can't find it but was on the net but was on local news in australia.

the best way and safest way to let your cat outside is with a cat run it a connecting tunnels that lead all around the house. some people have realy good ideas on the net.

But if you bring a young kitten up on the leash there realy no reason not to see if he\she can\can't  be trained to use it. I've heard of a owner that trained there cat to put away his toys in a basket after he had finished playing with it.

  2. I have always taken my indoor cats out on a leash. This way they can enjoy the outside without getting hurt. I picked up a dual leash at the pet store. They didn't have any like that for cats so I got them one for small dogs. You can also get 2 leashes and just tie the handles together. I would recommend getting Advantage for cats. It is a once a month flea medicine. This way they won't get fleas while they are outside. Just a suggestion.

  3. I walk my cat on a leash too.  It is safer for the animal.  I would just get a second leash for your second cat.  You can give them a couple of feet each and just sit in the middle while the both explore around you.
