Wall color ideas to enhance my bedroom

Question

I have espresso colored bedroom furniture. Royal purple and white bedding , I need wall color ideas. I have a dark gray now. I cannot accessorize.

nice choice of colours! you should choose white walls. for various reasons:

- white makes the room seem bigger and airier

- its best not to add any more colours to the theme you already have. if there are too many colours, it will not appear to have a colour theme

- if you want to change your room at any point, you can keep the walls white, as white goes with everything!

-having white walls will draw more attention to the accessories and furniture in the room. you dont want to walk into a room and think... WALLS!!

the only time you shouldn't have white is if you smoke in the room...the white will soon turn to yellow... nice : {

accessorize using the purple colour you have on the bedding. hope this helps!

I have my bedroom done in a chocolate brown and off white..

I painted mine in 12" wide vertical stripes.

Dark green and light green [sage greens, not lime greens or anything, it's easier to match furniture and bedding]

Well I actually found some great wall swatch websites. You can just google 'wall swatches' and you'll find some great colors.

I'd find a more interesting color than WHITE, though.
