Question:

Wall coverings/Paint colours?

I sleep in the basement and there are these icky grey cement walls (they look like fake wood) any suggestions for wall coverings or paint colours that will look better but not draw attention to it? or suggestions for sticking stuff up?

  1. Primer then go with a pale color like a warm tan or really soft yellow, etc. I have found those hang up things that velcro together and just stick to your walls are great! I used them in my art studio for new pieces and am very happy with less holes in the walls. You can buy them at Target,Walmart etc. Print out photos off your computer or upload photos to Cafepress-you can get 11x14 up to poster size and you could have some fun stuff for decor. Also you could go to Ikea or go online and get that wire and clip curtain hanging system (cheap) and hang fabric on one wall. If you don't have a sewing machine use that iron on seaming-its great.


  2. Try painting it a shade of white, then put up posters, pictures, paintings, etc.
