Wall paper - What is the best and quickest way to strip it off the walls?

Score, soak and scrape.  I've found this method works the best, though steaming is pretty easy as well if you have access to one.  If you use the scoring tool, fill a spray bottle with either wallpaper stripper or liquid fabric softener diluted with a little warm water, let it sit to soak into the paper, then use a scraper to lift while spraying under the lifted paper, it usually comes off fairly easily.

if it was installed properly, wallpaper stripper or plain water will do it.

if it was not installed properly, prepare for a long difficult task.

WP on a painted wall usually comes off fairly easy. WP on a sized sheetrock wall should also.

unpainted or unsized is the killer.
