Wallmounts from monoprice?

Question

well ive decided to get it from there but im confused on one thing

they have 2 of the same wall mounts but one of made out of aluminum and more expensive

check them out:

the first one is the "regular" one the the second one is the aluminum one

so which one should i get?

Aluminum is lighter and harder to work with since it's a softer metal...That's why the price difference.  It's up to you whether you want the lighter, easier to mount.  Or the steel one, it's heavier but lighter on your pocket.

Your 40" is well within spec so the TV is fine, just make sure the mount is compatible with your TV.
