Wallpaper keeps changing, Its annoying!?

It keeps going plain blue & its getting on my nerves, any suggestions?

Most likely a virus, or your computer is old and can't handle wallpapers. They do use a bit of system resources. I'd say run a virus scan using Avast. It's one of the best virus scanners out there and it's free.

You may have a program that changes/resets it to that background.

Or the wallpaper that you're trying to put set as your background may not be there anymore.

Have you tried fiddling around with the display/background settings.

Check msconfig to see if there are any startup programs that look dodgy or unfamiliar to you etc and uncheck one of the ones that look dodgy to you, change your background and restart ... do that with any other startup programs that you find peculiar to you in hopes to find the culprit ...... otherwise ..... I have nothing else ... sorry.

Seems like your system isn't saving your settings upon exit.  

Try this, set your wallpaper, clicking apply and ok, then select an empty area of your desktop, right-click on it and select "Refresh'.  

See if that helps.  If you continue to have trouble, please ask again and include a little more information about your system.
