Wallpaper removal question?

i have removed the wallpaper in my bathroom, and as I was removing it, it pull off some of the plaster, so all that is there now is concrete- and rust. do i have to remove the rust before re-plaster-ing? please help!

  1. yes you do and then prime the wall or it will bleed through.


  2. You don't have to remove it ,but you need to seal it with a reputable sealant . Kilz  Bulls-eye 123 comes to mind. Make sure you remove all glue residue and mold,mildew before you apply sealant.
