Walmart eye center prices and cost?

When you go to Walmart, do you charge you for the eye exam? I'm guessing yes, how much is it?

Plus is the glasses there cheaper than, the glasses at the eye doctor?

I am asking this, because at my eye doctor they provided me contacts, but my insurance wont cover glasses with it. So I'm just wondering, instead of buying glasses at the eye doctor, I would find a better deal at Walmart for cheaper glasses.

The best deal on glasses at Walmart is to take in an old pair, and have them put new lenses in.  It's only about $60 if you don't go for any magic coatings.  You could use your own old frames, glasses from a thrift store, or frames you bought on eBay.

All I can say is that I bought glasses from Wallmart in Magog Quebec Canada and had nothing but problems,sometimes it's better to pay a bit more than put up with the lack of service (READ NO SERVICE )

Go to Walmart Eye Center online and compare the prices. They charge me $33 to get my eye fitted for contacts and that don't include eye exam...well I use my insurance for the eye exam. $69 for two boxes of contacts.
