  1. It isn't a "credit card", it can just be used at a transaction terminal.

You must be planning on using it for something your parents don't know about, so keep this in mind:  What you use it for is TOTALLY traceable back to you.  Cash is not.

"Misrepresenting" or "Fraud" are real fiscal crimes, and carry hefty sentences, usually with a stint at a minimum security prison.

No, since it "costs" you money.  Give me $100, and I'll give you back $95.  Doesn't make sense, does it.

  2. A money card is not a credit card.

  3. A money card is not a credit card. Maybe you should forget about credit until you get older.

  4. Look, there's a reason you need to ask your parents for permission to buy certain things.  Saying your 16, not 8, is about the same difference as saying you're 10, not 5.  You're obviously trying to get away with something you already know is wrong, so try this on for size:  Depending on the state you live in, since you're a minor in the eyes of the law, it's possible that if you do something illegal, your parents will be the ones to go to jail for your naughtiness, while you go to a foster home.  Not to mention the fact that sneaking around like this will damage your relationship with your folks.  Is that what you really want?  This is a major trust issue between you and your folks.  Come on, get with the program, and tell your parents what it is you're wanting to buy.  If it's on the up & up, they may just surprise you and help you out with it.  And if it's not on the up & up, don't fool with it.  Your future well-being just ain't worth gambling with.  I know this from personal experience...

  5. you cant have a credit card it is a pre paid card
