Walmart scratched my glasses and refuse to fix them?

A pair of frames that I've had for about 3 years broke lastnight. So today I went to Walmart (where I originally purcahsed these) and purchased a new frame. They switched out the lenses and when I got back to work I realized there was a 1/4" thick column of tiny scratches runnig from the top to bottom of my lense, right down the center. I took them back to walmart, and the manager told me that they are "normal cleaning scratches" and there's nothing they can do.

Two hours ago, I had lenses I could see through just fine, no i have a lense that looks cloudy. I don't know what to do.

Any experience dealing with this?

You should probably call Customer Care for Wal-mart, not the store that you got it from if the Manager already said there is nothing they could do.  Maybe they could work something out for you.  Good Luck!

Typical.  If you can afford it, go elsewhere for a new pair, and don't walk in Wal-Mart's door again.
