The agent of Napoli midfielder, Walter Gargano, has insisted that his client will stay at the Stadio San Paolo after reluctance of the club to sell him.
Gargano has attracted interest from host of Italian clubs including, Genoa and Lazio but the Azzurri do not want to sell him.

However, the agent revealed that the interested clubs have held talks with Napoli but they have told them that he is not for sale at any price.
Talking to the reporters the agent said, “There is interest in him from Genoa. However, for the moment, Napoli have never manifested a desire to sell him. It’s also true that Lazio boss Edy Reja really likes him and the two clubs have spoken, but that is it.
“For now we’ll just have to wait and see how the market evolves. He’s at Napoli right now, in August…”
Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has mentioned it several times that none of his star players is for sale. The Naples based club are looking to add several new players to strengthen the squad for UEFA Champions League participation.
Napoli manager, Walter Mazzarri, is a huge admirer of the 26-year-old and considers him an important part of his plans in the 2011/12 season.

The defensive midfielder made 83 appearances for the club and scored 3 goals too. Gargano has established himself as a main stay in the Azzurri team and has made more than 100 appearances for the club so far.
