The Partenopei side are currently holding the final spot for the Europe’s biggest tournament next season, but they are facing tough competition from the likes of Udinese, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan. Only two games are left to play until
the end of the season, and each and every point will have a say in deciding the eventual winner in the battle for top three.
Napoli will travel to Bologna for their next game on Sunday, May 6th, and Mazzarri has urged the fans to travel in big numbers to support the team. The tactician insisted that the fans have spurred the team to many wins
in the past, and it is time that they should do it once again.
While talking to Sky Sports, the 50-year-old remarked:
“We will try for the Champions League until the end. I’d like to see the stadium in Bologna, as it was at the San Paolo, full of Azzurri and our fans. It’s important to the boys and is probably essential for our performance. So,
hopefully we can find this climate that usually is reserved for our home games.”
The former Sampdoria also cleared the air between him and Ezequiel Lavezzi by suggesting that he gave his best wishes to the striker on his birthday. There is a lot of speculation of the manager’s rift with the Argentine after
the striker did not feature in the recent win over Palermo.
“I gave him good wishes. I’m not very communicative with the boys, but today I happened to be around and willingly gave him my best wishes.” Added the Azzurri head coach
After taking on Stefano Pioli’s men in the penultimate game of the season, the Partenopei side will host Siena in their last league match of the season.
The Vesuviani are also in the final of Coppa Italia, where they will take on Juventus, later this month.
