The Partenopei boss hails his team’s win over Novara; hoping to secure UEFA Champions League berth and ending the season on a positive note
Napoli manager, Walter Mazzarri, is relieved to see his team end their five-game winless streak in the league.
The Partenopei suffered three consecutive defeats which saw them squander a great opportunity to finish amongst the top-three. However, their recent 2-0 win over Novara has lightened their hopes of securing UEFA Champions League
football for the next season.

run of form. The victory was made even sweeter for the Azzurri, as all of their rivals for the top-three finish dropped points in their respective round 33 matches.
Mazzarri has expressed his joy at the result, and admitted that the team was under pressure after their poor form of late. The former Sampdoria boss is hopeful that this result will help Napoli in ending the season on a positive
note.
While talking to the reporters, Mazzarri enthused:
“It was important to get the result. The team felt the pressure of those three straight losses, so winning and keeping a clean sheet were essential to rediscover our calm and confidence. At the end of the day we put in a good performance
