The former Sampdoria head coach has remarked on the team he has at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003, and reflected that he did not need to coach a big club to be satisfied from his career.
The head coach of the Vesuviani outfit has remarked on the performances of his team during the past season and further went on to state that they would be looking to make a strong impact in the Lega in this current campaign. Furthermore, he remarked that
his squad was an extremely strong one and they were capable of beating any team they were up against.
This is true of the club in the current Serie A campaign, as they have seen their stock rise after every other match; their confidence has been growing and they have not been defeated in the seven matches that they have played so far.
From the seven matches they have played so far, they have gone on to win six of them; while drawing the other game. Diverting the topic from the match against Juventus, Mazzarri was quizzed as to why he had never been at the helm of a big club.
Mazzarri is of the opinion that there is no real need of coaching the big teams to realise that you have made it as a great coach; however, he conceded that the big clubs do win more titles. However, he spoke of his time at Reggina and the fact that he saved
them from relegation when the odds were stacked against them.
He went on to give his opinion, by stating:
“I don’t feel as if I need to Coach a club like Juventus, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 or Milan to say I’ve made it. I understand that you, traditionally, tend to win more with those teams, but winning means something else. To save Reggina from relegation with so many deducted
points meant more to me than winning.”
After receiving an 11 point deduction due to their involvement in the Calciopoli scandal, Mazzarri was able to rescue them from the possibility of relegation. Mazzarri is considered as one of the best coaches that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 has produced in the recent past.
