Walter Mazzarri has praised his players for an extraordinary win over Juventus, and insists that the team has come a long way ahead in the last three years.

Mazzarri insisted that before the game it was almost unimaginable to beat the Vecchia Signora in a 90-minute game, and stated that just the triumph over such a competitive team is a feat in itself.
The Azzurri chief insisted that the Coppa Italia trophy evidences the fact that the Naples outfit has come a long way in the last three years, and have achieved something extraordinary.

While talking to the press, the 50-year-old said:
“It was almost unthinkable to beat Juventus over 90 minutes when they hadn’t lost all season. It was an achievement within an achievement. The whole team achieved something extraordinary over these three years. Hamsik, Cavani and
Lavezzi are name-checked all the time, but they all deserve to be hailed on an equal level and as a group.”
There have been numerous rumours regarding Walter Mazzarri’s future at the club, with many suggesting that the manager will leave Napoli during the summer transfer window.
When enquired about his future plans, the former Sampdoria coach stated that his contract with the club extends until 2013, and insisted that he has no intention to rescind his relationship with the Azzurri before that time. The
tactician stated that this is the time to celebrate their Coppa Italia success, and insisted that everything else can take a back-seat for now.
