Walter Mazzarri insists Napoli will continue to amaze the fans with their attacking football
Napoli manager, Walter Mazzarri, has insisted that his team will continue to amaze the fans with their attacking football.
Mazzarri’s men had an extraordinary 2010/11 campaign and had their best league finish in almost 21 years. The Azzurri finished third in the league table and qualified for the UEFA Champions’ League group stages for the first time
since 1990.
Mazzarri has refused to set ambitions for the next season and just wants to play quality football. The tactician is delighted to see the team playing as one unit and he is confident that the boys will repeat the last season’s heroics
in the upcoming season.
Talking to the reporters Mazzarri said, “I won’t talk about objectives, but we intend to amaze. I am very fired up by working with this squad and get the clear feeling these players want to act as a unit. I don’t talk about objectives,
you know that by now, but I can guarantee the fans we will always give our all to go as far as possible.”
“Just like in recent years, I want the team to believe it can challenge anyone. Our intention is always to amaze.” added the manager
