After having such an impressive season in the Serie B and assisting them in their goal of achieving promotion into the Serie A, Insigne was called back by the Partenopei outfit for him to prove his worth in the Azzurri colours.

“It is true that he is making very fast progress, but let’s not forget he is making the transition from Serie B to A and representing his hometown club, which will bring emotions and added pressure. I honestly do not know if Insigne will become as good or
have as much success as Ezequiel Lavezzi, but he is a very mature young man who handles the pressure very well.”
