The Giallorossi chief slams the fans for their treatment of the former Palermo defender, and also backs Jose Angel and Bojan Krkic for success.

Roma sporting director, Walter Sabatini, has defended Simon Kjaer after the recent criticism on the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Denmark-c2884 international.
Kjaer moved to the Stadio Olimpico Rome on-loan from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Wolfsburg-c40881 before the start of the 2011/12 season. However, since then, the defender has failed to live up to the expectations of the fans and has performed below-par in the
games played so far.
Sabatini previously signed the Dane when he used to be the Palermo boss. The Giallorossi chief insists that the fans of the club are trying to unsettle the defender and they are becoming successful in their antics.
The Roma chief insists that everyone is pinpointing the former Palermo defender, and he is under severe scrutiny for every single mistake he makes on the pitch.
While talking to the reporters, Walter Sabatini said,
“Kjaer is like a player who people are trying to knock down and they’ve almost succeeded. The Kjaer I brought to Roma was different. After his dismissal in the derby against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775, he entered a dark tunnel which is leading to some
insecurity and mistakes. We have to protect him."
Sabatini is also concerned with the slow progress made by summer signings, Jose Angel and Bojan Krkic. The chief insists that Angel started well at Rome, but he has lost his form of late. However, he is confident that the left-back
will improve as he settles at the club.
